Magical abilities

The magical abilities of a magician are essential, fundamental and necessary, for any character in the system.

 

If you are, congratulations, your life will become hours of work and study, if we add a little luck to it, you will get to do great things and you will get great satisfaction from your work, or you will directly become frustrated and choose to become a WOLF XD.

Potions

Fundamental basic element to make potions -> Lacrimae Bottle  +  3rd level of sphere Terra (Matter) + level of sphere corresponding to the effect to be created.

Potions can be made of:

  • Life (Health)

  • Energy

  • Invisibility

  • Change of nature

  • Shalafí elimination

 

Are there more types? who knows .... ^^

The effect performed (potency, time, degree, level ...) of each potion, depends mostly on the level of sphere + earring of the magician.

Spells

As I have commented in the section " Conjuration of spheres ", they can be simple combinations (Different level of the same sphere) or combined (More than 1 sphere in the same spell).

It is important to keep in mind the level of ARETE in the token and / or ARETE not visible with artifacts, such as wands or the " Augurus Amulet " for example.

The simple conjuration for the moment can be carried out up to level 6, with the corresponding wand of the sphere that we are conjuring, ex:

 

Complete level 5 of Tempore in token + Wand tuned to Tempore = Level 6 Tempore.

 

Above 6 at the moment there is nothing and as I always say ... are we sure of this?

Combined conjuration is only possible if your level of ARETE visible or not visible is adequate to perform the spell.

There are combined spells of:

  • Life Increase (Health)

  • Resurrection

  • Protection

  • Fire attacks

  • Attacks  silver

...

There are all that are, but not all that are… I remember that this is a starting guide.

Spirit Potions

Spirit containing potions can be made, you only need the base artifact ->  Lacrimae bottle  +  3rd level of sphere Terra (Matter) + being in Penumbra (Logically why you go in search of spirits) + anima 4 (to catch them).

These potions give you a visible bonus on the token with the color code blue +1  in the different sections of skills and attributes of your panel.

Many times you will find that you cannot catch them, because you do not have enough power as a magician, that is because the number of spirits that are in the land exceeds  your magical level, look for another one with less spirits, try your luck ... and / or that the type of spirit you are looking for is more powerful than you, but keep trying as you increase your magical life. ​

Spirits like LUNULA and ANCESTRO, "No Message"  At first glance they do not give bonuses, but as we always say, this is LACRIMAE and surely they have another use, which one? I don't know, can you help me? ^^

These bonuses are not permanent and can be combined with each other, their duration is up to the change of day like health.

They are all that I know, but surely they are not all that they are, I cannot assure it.

Some spirit potions have a different effect from the panel bonus  depending on the type of character who drinks it.

Alchemy [Foraging]

It is known that magicians in all their types and times; in their culture, cinema, literature ... they have worked on the doctrine and experimental study of chemical phenomena, but in the case of Lacrimae he focuses on herbology and / or the study and combination of plants that the system offers us.

It is said that there are up to a total of 23 types ... OO? If that's how I stayed when they told me, would it be true? Where are they? How do you get it?

The collection of ingredients (Plants) for the creation of potions, is only possible if you have medicine and occultism in your character panel, all types and races can access it.

You need to check each SIM that you go with the "Forage" button, if there are plants.

 

Every time you click on the "Forage" button, it will give you the distance that said plant is located and to collect it, you will need " The Bag " which is for sale in the system's marketplace.

For the creation of the potion you need MAGIC, without this it is not possible and for its creation you need 3 objects:

  1. The bag containing ingredients.

  2. A saucepan .

  3. A Bottle full of magic essence (Terra3) or another base component according to the news.

 

Potion creation is fully predictive if you use the items in this order.

Once created and when drinking it, you will see that the attributes, abilities and / or virtues will be scored with a +1 or perhaps more points, with the color green.

You can make and drink several potions, of a single type of plants and / or mix them between them, you will increase your token temporarily until the change of day.

Each plant can offer you an individual score of 1 attribute, skill ... or several different ones for each one.

The combination of potions (plants, spirits) and amulets will significantly increase your token, the pity is that it is only temporary in the case of spirits and plants.

Wands [Exchange]

Una varita es un instrumento mágico casi sensible a través del cual una bruja o mago canaliza su poder mágico para centralizar los efectos para obtener resultados más complejos.

Si... Harry Potter...OO¡Así me quede yo también cuando me informaron de ello y ¿por qué?, pues porque las varitas de "Lacrimae" disponen de base (madera), esencia, núcleo y punta.

Recuerdo mi cita acerca de las varitas en el apartado "Conjuración de esferas":

  • Cada esfera tiene 5 niveles "visibles" en el panel, pero es posible aumentar el nivel de esfera, dependiendo de tu arete y el uso de artefactos que puedes encontrar en el marketplace, como por ejemplo las "varitas".

 

¿Qué quiero decir con esto?, que puedes conjurar una esfera a nivel 6 sin tener ese nivel en tu panel, OJO¡¡ el arete en este caso solo influye para comprender ese nivel, si tienes arete 6 y no un +1 en nivel de esfera con la varita, explotara tu magia.​

Actualmente hay 2 tipos de varitas:

 

  • MAGIC WAND, la varita común, es la que está a la venta en el marketplace, que consta de una base (madera), la cual te proporciona un nivel +1 de magia en una esfera "aleatorio".

  • MAGIC WAND edición especial, que salen a la venta en Navidad, Pascua, etc. Esta te aporta +3 de magia en 3 esferas diferentes o iguales "aleatorias", en la base (madera), núcleo y punta.

INTERCAMBIO:

 

Es la manera de sintonizar tu varita común o especial con los espíritus, para que te aporten una esfera diferente a la que contiene de base, si sabes que espíritu corresponde a cada esfera, podrás elegir cual necesitas o quieras.

No todos los espíritus aportan esferas.

A esta acción se le denomina, darle una "esencia" a tu varita y el procedimiento es el siguiente:

  1. Tienes que estas en Penumbra (Umbra Rosa)

  2. Tener la varita puesta.

  3. Darle al botón INTERCAMBIO

  4. El espíritu dota tu varita de esencia de...

Con esto conseguimos que una varita común te aporta +2 niveles de esfera diferentes y/o iguales y una varita edición especial te aporta +4 niveles en esferas diferentes y/o iguales.

Enchantments

Ciertos artefactos de lacrimae son objetos simples, hasta que se les imbuye magia, para cambiar sus propiedades y/o su uso.

 

No todos los artefactos pueden ser imbuidos de magia, si, una gran mayoría, de hecho, yo como mago lo 1º que haría seria comprobar que artefactos puedo encantar, eso no te lo va a decir nadie tienes que testearlo tu.

 

​¿Cómo se hace? Utilizando la esfera Terra a nivel 5, este nivel te da la posibilidad de preparar ese objeto para introducir un conjuro y obtener una cualidad, propiedad o uso mágico con el mismo.

El mismo método se utiliza para desencantarlo.

A diferencia del Terra 3 que se utiliza en las botellas, lo que haces es llenar la botella con magia, no encantar la botella en sí.

 

Un ejemplo de encantamiento es, encantar un arma con magia para potenciar su grado de daño.

Ejemplo: Arco +Terra 5 + Vim 2, aumenta su poder de daño y ese daño depende del personaje que la use y las propiedades de ficha de esa persona.

No hará el mismo daño si la usa un vampiro, que un humano, o un mago con arete 5, a uno con arete 50, cada personaje tendrá una cantidad de daño diferente.

Otros usos de encantamientos pueden ser para dotar de propiedades a algunos artefactos que a simple vista no se les atribuye nada…compruébalo.

Normalmente al encantar un objeto necesita de un conjuro simple o uno combinando esferas.

Otras veces se necesita, además del conjuro, una situación, un lugar, etc.

Estoy hablando de planos, artefactos vestidos y/o pociones, por dar algunos ejemplos, esto no es una norma, pero es una posibilidad para que el encantamiento funcione.

Como veis es buscar una aguja en un pajar, dado las combinaciones posibilidades y situaciones que se pueden dar... solo necesitas sentido común, imaginación, paciencia, tiempo y suerte.
