The system is automatic and random, by which I mean that, in the same action performed, being a dice roll, multiple situations can happen and it may  everything depends  of the luck of the player, of how his token is constituted, of the actions in his playing life  and / or the characteristics of the opponent.

 

In the same situation, the same thing does not always happen,  That is why the player must try, constantly test new situations and thus know how the system works, he must always try and practice, no matter how long he is in the game, whatever time you take, you will always discover new things and experience different situations and consequences.

The system is in constant development and changes, do not trust yourself, here nobody really knows anything, because what you think it is today, tomorrow it is not, or if ..., or it is what you think ... ... who knows. ...

What differentiates this game system from  others, in my view, are the  following points:

 

  • DEFINITIVE DEATH, it is well known, that many  Of the players who leave the game, it is due to this cause, due to frustration, anger and not knowing how to accept it.

   

    But if you look at it from a personal point of view, it is a way of  reward for your work and success in the face of the enemy and / or a bitch, if it has been caused by some error of your own, you will learn that "THAT"  you do not have to do it next time and you will take care not to  happen again.

    What does it consist of? In the total reset of your character, after 30 min  approx. to get the "ultimate death", in short ... you start as  human, losing all your accumulated XP, your token and your character.

    Head to the WELL to recover 80% of the XP accumulated in your  last life, paying 201  tears, in the URN of donations, in the  land  system officer.

  • THE INDIVIDUAL GAME, forget about everything you know so far in terms of vampiric game system, to call them in some way within Second Life, reset, this is totally different.

 

    Within the game there are so-called "Cults", groups, not to call them families, of players with different types of  characters, which exist in the system; A cult only gives you, in my view, a name for a community, an identity, security on your land and  a daily XP benefit depending on your rank within  of the.

    

    But really what is valued or what really counts is the  individual game of each player, by your merits, conclusions, knowledge and skill in the system.

    The reality or the truth is, I think this is designed to  do  a group game, share within the cult,  that  every  one  have  different  profiles, characters, skills, knowledge of  its  play  and tab.

 

But UNFORTUNATELY, it has been created over the years,  a  distrust, inside and  out of the  community with respect  to  others  cults and players themselves,  the  selfishness to share your achievements,  your  experiences and  knowledge,  make the game turn  individual  and non-transferable.

 

I get tired of  say that "Here is no more  strong the one  best token has, if not the one  better know how to use it  Y  the  what else do you know  about the system and how  works ", knowledge  it is  can.

  • THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED, for those who do not know it yet, this system has its base within the role-playing games of WoD or World of Darkness in Spanish.

 

 

   A good base would be to know this type of books and their content, to know who they are, how they work, what abilities, powers, characteristics, virtues and weaknesses, contain the different characters that exist here, but "I repeat" is only a base, currently the game is as they say in the system FAQ:

 

    "LACRIMAE is an adaptation for Second Life slightly inspired by tabletop role-playing games of the WoD line, but also by fantasy literature, mythology, science fiction and common sense (of the latter rather little)" ---> totally true this last ^^.

    I advise looking at the 3 main books, "Vampire, the masquerade", "Werewolf, Apocalypse" and "Wizard, the ascension".

    Knowing you as a character is FUNDAMENTAL, and of course  have  knowledge of the other races of the same character and the  different types of beings that exist within the game, to know what you can do to them, what they can do to you and how to respond in  different situations and abilities of each one.
